Jumpstart your garden!  Experience a twist on agriculture's connection to nature by building a mini-aquaponics system to grow lettuce at home.  The project recirculates water from plants to fish and back to plants, both cleaning the water and capturing nutrients.

ISU Extension and Outreach Story County 4-H

Adult fee:  $56.  Youth (under 18) fee:  $15.  Registration fee includes all supplies to make one system except goldfish, fish food, and water conditioner.  Reduced youth fees sponsored by ISU Extension 4-H.  Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.  Adult/youth ma complete one system together.

Registration and fee due by January 9, 2017.
